Rapid response to help children in crisis.
Our vetted social service partner submits an order to our Distribution Center specifying the child’s unique needs and preferences. Our staff works to fill the order, creating a customized package filled with proper-sized and age-appropriate clothing as well as essential hygiene items. The package is delivered to the child within 48 hours.
Relief in the midst of turmoil.
The children served by our SOS Urgent Response Program experience many different situations, each traumatic in their own way. Quick access to clothing, shoes, undergarments, coats, and toiletries gives them an instant sense of relief and the basic critical resources they need to return to their daily life.
A reminder to children that they are valued.
The uncontrollable situations these children endure take a toll on their mental and emotional health, self-esteem, and overall feeling of security in the world. The urgent response package they receive, with items picked out just for them, reminds them that they are worthy of love, care, and compassion, and that there are people in the community who want them to succeed.
