Access to feminine products has become a critical issue. Disadvantaged children and their parents can not afford these necessities, and unlike other necessities, pads and tampons are not covered by SNAP Benefits and not provided by most public schools. Dignity Matters is supporting 41 of our closets and over 7,000 students, ensuring ongoing access to these critical necessities.

Our in-school Closet program has become even more accessible thanks to our partnership with Earthbreeze. Laundry detergent is one of the top requested items at homeless shelters & outreach, veterans or panizations. women’s shelters, animal Care shelters, and disaster relief. And now, Earthbreeze is available in 105 of our Closets for students to take for a simpler solution to washing clothing, regardless of their access to a washing machine. For every package of Earth Breeze Eco Sheets ™’ sold, they donate ten loads of laundry detergent to somewhere in need, through their Buy One, Give Ten program.

Bombas is a comfort-focused, digitally native brand that provides elevated basics and helps those in need. The company was originally founded in 2013 because socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. Underwear and t-shirts are #2 and #3 respectively. While the brand started with and is known for its extremely comfortable socks, Bombas used its expertise in comfort to launch into apparel with t-shirts in 2019 and most recently, underwear in 2021. For every item purchased, a specially-designed item is donated to the homeless community. To date, Bombas has donated more than 75 million items to those at-risk, in need, and experiencing homelessness.

Our partnership with BOMBAS has provided 180,000 pairs of socks to our students through our Closets and emergency order system since 2016.
