Who is Charles River Laboratories?

Helping students get back to school with critical essentials
In 2022, our Charles River site in Wilmington, Mass. purchased, sorted and assembled 257 Confidence Packs for students in need.
Last year, our Wilmington site participated in the Fill the Bus campaign by donating 50 filled backpacks to underserved youth. Because the backpack campaign was such a success and a very rewarding volunteer event for our employees, we decided to again participate in the Fill the Bus campaign by donating 257 Confidence Packs to students in need.
Sparking employee engagement while making a difference
Charles River is committed to serving the geographies where we live and work, contributing both our time and resources. We live our value of CARE when we give back to our local communities, and our employees are invited to utilize their allotted “Volunteer Time Off” to volunteer with community organizations across our three Community areas of focus:
